Alternatively spelled as Baliuag, Baliwag is a first-class municipality in the province of Bulacan. It is bounded by on Southeast by Pandi, San Fernando, Pampanga on the Northwest, San Rafael on the East and Pulilan on the Southwest. According to 2020 census, the estimated population of Baliwag is about 168,470.

Being landlocked, the townspeople solely relies on agriculture, particularly in rice farming, to support their livelihood. The town is famous in creating world-class ‘buntal hats.’ These straw hats are made from extracted fibers of buri palm leaves, which grows abundantly in the town. Cigar case and pina fiber manufacturing also contribute to the town’s economy. Aside from agriculture, the major industries in Baliwag include professional service firms and trade and industry. The town is also known for serving delicious baked products and native delicacies.

Quick Fact: During the Spanish colonialization, Baliwag was initially a part of Quinwa (now known as Plaridel).

• Ride a bus with a route going to Gapan or Cabanatuan traversing through Sta. Rita Exit. Do not ride buses passing SCTEX. Alight at Camella Baliwag.

Private Vehicle

From Pampanga

Traverse the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and take the exit to Pulilan Toll. Take a left turn to Pulilan Junction and another left to DRT Highway. You will soon arrive at Camella Baliwag.

NLEX Sta. Rita Exit

Traversing NLEX, take the Sta. Rita Exit Toll and drive straight to DRT Highway until you arrive at Camella Baliwag.

NLEX Balagtas Exit

Traversing NLEX, take the Balagtas Exit Toll, turn left to Plaridel and make a right turn to Pulilan Junction and lastly, another right to DRT Highway. Drive straight to Camella Baliwag.
